Another Teamster organizing victory in Illinois!

How about a warm welcome for our newest brothers and sisters, 40 members of the Park Ridge Police Department who just voted to join Teamsters Local 700!

They were formerly represented by the Fraternal Order of Police, but voted on May 9 to join the Teamsters.

Becky Strzechowski, president of Teamsters Local 700, said she is extremely proud to welcome the Park Ridge police officers to the union:
These hardworking men and women will now have a Union that is dedicated to protecting the rights and improving the livelihoods of our Teamsters brothers and sisters.
Local 700 thanked the members of the Niles Police Department and organizers with Teamsters Joint Council 25 for their help with the organizing campaign.

Teamsters Local 700 represents more than 11,000 members, including more than 5,200 law enforcement members.
