Still another reason to close the border to Mexican trucks: Border gunfights

Border gunfights in shopping malls, no less.

Associated Press reports yesterday that
...police battled armed suspects at a popular mall in the Mexican border city of Ciudad Juarez, sending terrified shoppers scrambling and leaving one officer dead. Four other people were gravely wounded in the daylight gunfight Thursday.
Juarez is across a bridge from El Paso. Violent drug cartels have made it the most dangerous city in the world. The Transportation Department thinks it's a good idea to let trucks from Juarez travel anywhere they want on U.S. highways. The Teamsters don't think so.
